Sisters In The Cemetery

Two of my darling friends from Seattle came to visit me at the begging of this week. We spent our Monday in Colma’s cemetery, Cypress Lawn. It was a beautiful day out! We had a tea party and wondered around the cemetery admiring all the beautiful gravestones and masaliums. We snaps some photos and played dress up. All and all it was a perfect day! Most of these photos are taken by the talented Ursula Rose! Jamie and I took turns snapping the ones that she’s in. Oh and the wild floral dresses in some of the photos will be for sale on my Etsy sometime in the next month or so!

For the first time in seven years we brought Bowiemas back to the basics and had a good ol fashioned house party. We kept it small and stress free and holy shit it was fun! Here are some photos from throughout the night. I will admit I ran out of film pretty early on so sadly a lot of magical moments weren’t captured.

Some fun photos from the last few weeks! Winter in SF means lots of dark outings and wearing of vintage fur. I had a blast seeing my friends band Bad Future play from Seattle when they toured through town. I also had a great time celebrating my best friends Birthday and wondering around this beautiful city in my free time.

Turks Fruit Photo Shoot

The styling in the photos below are inspired by my favorite movie Turkish Delight, otherwise known as Turks Fruit. An early 70’s dutch film with the most stunning colors and amazingly cute 70’s fashion!!!

I must say that the photo shoot was one of the funnest I have ever done. We shot for five hours and it only felt like 45 minutes! There where many rolls of film shot, outfit changes, smoke boms, candy, fruit, wine, delightful conversations and a perfect sound track the intire time! I would like to also add that I was so pleased to shoot in one of my all time favorite apartments where J.R. Furbush and Megon Sommer live. They have personally decorated their home in the most beautiful manner.
